WellCell (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you access or use the WellCell platform (“Platform”, “Service”).

  1. Who We Are

WellCell is a subscription-based SaaS platform that provides tools for personal trainers (“PTs”) to manage, organize, and track their students.

WellCell:

  • Is a software provider only

  • Does not provide personal training, medical, health, or coaching services

  • Does not process payments between trainers and students

  • Does not act as a marketplace or intermediary between students and trainers

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, WellCell acts as:

  • Data Controller for account and subscription data of PTs

  • Data Processor for student-related data uploaded by PTs

  1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

a) Account Information (PTs)

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Account credentials

  • Subscription plan and billing status

  • Communication preferences

b) Student-Related Data (Provided by PTs)

  • Student names or identifiers

  • Progress data

  • Notes, activity logs, and training-related records entered by the PT

PTs are solely responsible for ensuring they have obtained all necessary legal rights, lawful basis, and explicit consent (where required) to collect, upload, and process student data within the Platform.

WellCell does not independently verify consent between trainers and students.

c) Technical and Usage Data

  • IP address

  • Device type

  • Browser type and version

  • Operating system

  • Usage statistics and interaction data

  • Log data and diagnostic information

  1. Payment Information

WellCell does NOT collect, store, or process payment card details or banking information.

All payments, invoicing, and subscription management are handled securely by Polar.sh. Any personal data processed in connection with payments is governed by Polar.sh’s own privacy policy and terms.

  1. How We Use Data

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform

  • Create and manage user accounts

  • Manage subscriptions and access rights

  • Improve system performance, security, and features

  • Provide AI-powered features and summaries

  • Communicate important service-related notifications

  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal data to third parties.

  1. Legal Basis for Processing (If Applicable Under GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract (providing the Service)

WellCell is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware of such data, we will take steps to delete it.
